The following five organizations have worked collaboratively from the beginning to develop and maintain the Rosenblum Award.

The Association of Learned & Professional Society Publishers (ALPSP) is the international trade association which supports and represents not-for-profit organizations that publish scholarly and professional content, and those that work with them. ALPSP, established in 1972, offers education and training and provides a vibrant network in which to share and promote best practice and help individuals and organizations thrive. It is proud to have over 320 member organizations across 35 countries. Our diverse membership encompasses society, university, and traditional publishers, alongside their associated communities, thereby representing those who are simultaneously at the forefront of AI innovation as well as being responsible for upholding the principles of accuracy, reliability, and trustworthiness in scholarly information dissemination.

The Association of University Presses (AUPresses) is an organization of more than 160 international nonprofit scholarly publishers. Since 1937, it has advanced the essential role of a global community of publishers whose mission is to ensure academic excellence and cultivate knowledge. AUPresses members are active across many scholarly disciplines, including the humanities, arts, social sciences, and sciences; publish significant regional and literary work; and are innovators in the world of digital publishing.

Based in Baltimore, Maryland, the National Information Standards Organization’s mission is to build knowledge, foster discussion, and advance authoritative standards development through collaboration among the cultural, scholarly, scientific, and professional communities. To fulfill this mission, NISO engages with libraries, publishers, information aggregators, and other organizations that support learning, research, and scholarship through the creation, organization, management, and curation of knowledge. NISO works with intersecting communities of interest and across the entire life cycle of information standards. NISO is a not-for-profit association accredited by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI).

The Society for Scholarly Publishing (SSP), founded in 1978, is a nonprofit organization formed to promote and advance communication among all sectors of the scholarly publication community through networking, information dissemination, and facilitation of new developments in the field. SSP members represent all aspects of scholarly publishing—including publishers, product developers, technical service providers, librarians, editors, researchers, and funders. SSP members come from a wide range of large and small commercial and nonprofit organizations. They meet at SSP’s annual meetings, educational seminars, and regional events to hear the latest trends from respected colleagues and to discuss common and mutual (and sometimes divergent) goals and viewpoints.

The International Association of Scientific, Technical & Medical Publishers (STM) is the global trade association that represents the world’s leading scholarly publishers, as well as organisations that provide services and support within the scholarly publishing ecosystem. Its ~150 members are from 17 countries and represent a diverse range of publishers—from small publishing houses to society publishers to large commercial publishers—alongside technology providers and innovators. All share a commitment to advancing trusted research and maintaining the integrity of the scholarly record.
